Community Room
With a hearth area, gathering table, kids’ play corner, and books for all ages, the Community Room is ready for events big and small. Birthday parties to study sessions, friendly conversations to Girl Scout meetings; the living room of Libertad is waiting.
Community Kitchen
Located in the Community Room–The Community Kitchen is available to residents for gatherings of any size. Invite neighbors to a weeknight potluck, cookie party or movie night!
Computer Room
The computer room is waiting for all your technology needs. Type a paper, fill out a job application, play a family board game, or just curl up with a good book. We’ll supply the computers; the productivity is up to you.
Get Active in Des Moines
Bike, run, walk or ski—it’s all here waiting for you. Des Moines offers a variety of outdoor recreation, but there are also great amenities right in the Libertad neighborhood. Residents are just 1 mile from Ewing Dog Park and the Ashley Okland Playground, featuring adaptive children’s play equipment. Also, only a short bike ride away from easy-access dining and shopping, like Aldi, Walmart, the Salvation Army Family Store and Petsmart. Fresh air. Good times. Get outside and explore.
